A small single-engine plane crashed in Loveland on Saturday and three passengers were taken to the hospital.

The Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Northern Colorado Regional Airport both reported the incident that occurred just west of the airport on East County Road 30. No fatalities have been reported.

Fire crews extinguished a small fuel fire that had occurred around the aircraft. Emergency personnel are expected be on scene for the next several hours and a portion of East County Road 30 between Boyd Lake Avenue and County Road 11C is temporarily closed.

The Northern Colorado Regional Airport said the facility is continuing to operate as normal.

Poudre Fire Authority, Thompson Valley EMS and Larimer County Sheriff’s Office are assisting Loveland Fire Rescue Authority on the incident.
